Getting Started

1. Choose a Template

The standard size of the sample logos on VistaCreate is 500x500 pixels. However, you can resize your logo file on the artboard when you’re editing the design elements.

After signing up for a free VistaCreate account, go to the Home page. Click on the Templates menu in the top panel. On the sidebar, click Marketing Materials. You should see the Logo option. Click on it to access the ready-to-use logo templates.

2. Personalizing Fonts

Whether you’re creating a logo from scratch or using a template, it’s crucial that you personalize the fonts. In most cases, you may not find a template with fonts that you want on your brand’s logo.

The VistaCreate artboard comes with a lot of fonts and text styles. You’re free to use these for personal or commercial projects. You can also upload your own fonts if you don’t like the ones already on there.

Here is how you can customize the font and text style:

After selecting your template, you’ll see a left-side menu on the artboard. This menu lets you add various design elements to your project. Click on Text. You’ll see two sections, namely Styles and My Fonts. Keep scrolling down the Text Styles list until you find something you’re looking for. Click on the existing font name to open the Fonts menu. Once you select any font, the changes will automatically be reflected. To upload your own fonts, click on My Fonts and then select Upload Fonts.

3. Customizing the Logo Content

There are many customization opportunities in the VistaCreate artboard. You can change the color palette, text, background, and so on. You can also enhance the template by adding your own photos, new text style blocks, shapes, and illustrations.

Follow these steps for design enhancement:

Click on the Background option to access a list of images. You can scroll down to find more background images. Select one to apply. To upload any photo from your computer, drag and drop an image to the artboard. Modify the size and place it wherever you want. Click on the Objects menu and type in the kind of illustration you want. Select the illustration and resize it before laying it down.

If you’re using a logo template, there might be no need to add any object or shape to the logo design. But if you’re designing one from scratch, you need to know how to add objects that will make your logo look even more awesome.

Here is how you can find cool objects on VistaCreate artboard:

Access the Objects menu. You’ll see numerous types of shapes, illustrations, and objects. In the Search objects field, type in the object you’re looking for and press Enter. Choose any object from this list or scroll down to discover more creative illustrations.

5. Using Stock Images

Stock images are great resources for when you don’t have access to real visuals of your products or services. The VistaCreate image library has a vast collection of stock images. You can use these royalty-free images in any commercial project.

There are two types of stock images on VistaCreate, namely Free and Pro. You can use stock images from the Pro section if you subscribe to a paid plan.

You can edit the stock image after you add it to your logo design by adding color filters, borders, changing the transparency, layering images, and so on.

6. Utilizing Brand Kits

The VistaCreate Brand Kits let you customize your designs quickly and efficiently. You can store your brand-specific assets on the artboard for future use. This way, you don’t have to waste time searching for your brand assets.

The Brand Kits section is more of an organizer for your design assets. It lets you save color palettes, text styles, and logos as brand assets. You can also add multiple brand asset sets under different brand kit names.

Once you’re done creating your masterpiece, you can easily resize the logo as well as other graphic design projects on VistaCreate.

To resize an existing logo design, follow these steps:

Click on the Resize icon on the upper menu of the artboard. You can choose any size depending on the category and niche. For a custom size, click on Set dimensions. You can enter the width and height in units like pixels, inches, and centimeters. Select Set to confirm the new size.

And we’re done. All that’s left is downloading your logo.

To download your copy of the logo, follow these steps:

Click on the Download button in the top-right corner of the tool. Choose the file format you want. You’ll get options like JPG, PNG, PDF, and GIF.
