To begin, the way to cure poison in Stranded Deep is to use an Antidote, which is a craftable item that can be found under consumables. That said, players will not be able to create an Antidote at the earliest stages of this title, as it is not unlocked until reaching crafting level three. As such, the first step to curing poison in Stranded Deep is to level up crafting, and that can be done by creating things like lashings, stone tools, and crude items for experience.

Once a player has reached crafting level three in this survival game, they will then need to procure the requisite ingredients to create an Antidote. The first of these ingredients is a Coconut Flask, which is crafted from one lashing and one coconut. For the uninitiated, lashings are created with fibrous leaves, which are obtained by hitting yucca trees and palm saplings with a tool, and a coconut, which can be knocked off of palm trees.
The other ingredient needed to craft an Antidote in this difficult game is Pipi plants, and these can be a bit of a challenge to find. Appearing in very small numbers on the ground, it is quite easy to pass by this little green plant, and players that are trying to recover from Stranded Deep’s poison will need to keep their eyes peeled. For those fans that would like a visual reference for the Pipi plant, that can be found in the video above.
As players progress through Stranded Deep on PS4, or another platform, it is likely that they will establish a Pipi farm or two. This will make it much easier to craft Antidotes and cure poison, minimizing the impact that this status effect has overall. Until then, though, players should tread lightly, and if they find themselves poisoned in the very early stages of Stranded Deep, it is certainly reasonable to simply restart.
Stranded Deep is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
